Figured I would make just one thread I could spout off about how great he is on the nights I'm drinking. Really looking forward to what his new album is bringing.

I'm a huge fan, especially of "Mechanical Animals". "Holy Wood" is really underrated too. Great songwriting on both albums.

I like them all. I didn't give his last one a chance for whatever reason, and a couple of months ago decided to give it a full listen and was completely blown away. A lot of people don't like him leaving the shock stuff behind, but it's still really dark just from a more personal perspective. I mean the man's in his 40's how fucking angry can you still be at the world at that age?

I always thought he was overrated as a shock rocker and sorely underrated as a songwriter. Most people I know hated the last two albums but there's some really, really great stuff on them IMO; "Running to the Edge of the World", "Just a Car Crash Away", "I Have to Look up Just to See Hell", "Eat Me, Drink Me" (title track), "Into the Fire", "Four Rusted Horses", "Evidence", etc.... lots of good stuff.

I enjoy Manson's music, like most metal nowadays I have to be in a certain mood to listen to it but Manson has been a favorite of mine for years now. Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to hearing his last one, but I heard good things.

I've always been a huge Manson fan.

Running to the Edge of the World is an epic-ass song.

Some of my favorites are: Dogma, Cyclops, Snake Eyes and Sissies, Cake and Sodomy, Tourniquet, Wormboy, Mister Superstar, The Reflecting God, Mechanical Animals, Dissasociative, I Want to Disappear, User Friendly, Last Day On Earth (especially acoustic), Target Audience, The Nobodies, Spade, Putting Holes In Happiness, They Said That Hell's Not Hot, Heart Shaped Glasses, Pretty As a Swastika, and Arma-God-Damn-Mother-Fucking-Geddon

Sucks Pogo left though. :(

Found this quote from Twiggy. Sounds really promising.

We've got a new album that we're working on. It's almost done. It'll probably be out next year. It's fantastic. It's our best record yet, I think. I mean, everyone always says that, but I think this is our best work so far. . . It's kind of like a little more of a punk rock 'Mechanical Animals' without sounding too pretentious

Yeah but many and I mean many aim for that as well. There's maybe like 5 people in the world that achieve this (when it comes to me of course, I don't know about others).

The second person is Charles Manson BTW  I was really creeped out while watching his videos on YT.

Interesting. I read on another forum that had quoted Manson as saying the next album will have a "heavy death metal vibe".
