We watched the 2009 Friday The 13th. It’s an ok movie. Definitely the best out of the franchise- but still a corny copy of Halloweeen. Also- my son asked me last night “dad why did they name this movie Friday the 13th? There’s nothing about Friday The 13th in this movie”

It sucked having to admit that this movie just ripped off Halloween and couldn’t find another “scary” day of the year.

Also, I'm in my mid thirties and comics were hardly a thing growing up. Mid forty crowd might have fond memories. Most everyone else seems to have just jumped on the bandwagon. The movies are all pretty shit but again, probably because I have zero idea what the fuck is meant to be going on.
My son gets given all the super hero books as presents, I gave up reading them because they are fucking horrible. This guy can cook an egg in his ass, this villain is half human half hat and he can shoot fish from his retard rockets. Those dudes ran out of ideas before I was born.

It's like they'd rather waste the billions producing propaganda than buying the rights/licensing for good movies. I think we pay ten bucks a month for Netflix but I usually wing up renting from the larger library in the Xbox film an television application. They have a good range

I took the kids to see it at the cinema and when they were sucked into the game and changing sex and shit I though 'fuck, they're gonna ruin another one with their bullshit' but it was kept to a minimum and didn't ruin a reasonably clever rehashing for a new generation.
