I was part of the juggalo community in my late teens and early 20s. That faded out when most people stopped listening to the music, or just stopped acting like being a juggalo is a lifestyle.

I was part of the metal detecting community all last summer and this past winter, until I realized that I didn't fit in with them, because they treat it as a lifestyle instead of a hobby that you do when you're bored or want to get out. Now I mostly just do it alone or with a friend.

When I was a rapper, I was part of the local hip hop community (and online like HC). But most of us went nowhere with a music career and don't do it anymore.

For the most part, communities have very little worth, with some exceptions, like Evak's, because there will always be veterans. You can't just stop being a veteran, unless you like, die.

The mma/jiu jitsu community is an exception. Its a family, trust me. Goes way beyond just being involved at the gym. Peoples lives get permantly entertwined.
