The first set of numbers[#s] is the current sequence of numbers starting from low to high. This was taught to me @H.O.T.E.S.S.

#s are used to calculate measurements.
*Example:
1¢ is 1 unit of measure of currency.
There are characters that remind the reader (most likely you) to either add, subtract, devide, and multiple numbers, or any combination of these numbers.
Example: 1¢ + 1¢ = 2¢.
*Train= 1¢ + 3¢ = __.
Note: Show your work, you can show your work by counting the numbers with scores. "|" Is equivalent to 1 score, or you could type or write "|" as one score, you decide which score you would prefer to use.
Note: A rule of thumb is to score up to four and cross out the scores with a notch [/]. In computer terms the notch is referred to as an underscore. You could also use a cross although this is frowned upon, and you'll see why in later teachings. A cross on paper is to draw from one end, starting in the approximate middle of a character to the other end of the character (or characters).
If a member could post a pic, gif, or jpg of the proper form to score up to five that poster will be rewarded with a *, known as an asterisk, but in 1909 the asterisk was known as a star, and we typically didn't use them.
Any member that completes a task that I request will get their name added to my ssupermensa signature, and that users star rating will be displayed next to his, or her username. I will not request any member to perform anything beyond their capabilities. Digital calculators are not accepted.
