It is a lawsuit from the former XFL CEO and Commissioner.

Vince owes him over $20m.

He shut down the XFL and declared bankruptcy via his LLC to try and get out of paying everyone he owed money, and then fired Luck 'for cause' to try and weasel out of paying him the $20m which was personally guaranteed.

And the reasons listed in court filings for why the guy was fired are absolutely hilarious. For instance, Vince is saying he fired him for cause because he made personal calls on his company phone.

I've never seen Vince go into litigation so completely fucked before.

Fits the theme of the show, but Hawk's rise and fall isn't really anything unique for that era.


The Owen one is going to be a rough watch.

I still maintain that he is vastly overrated because of how he died, though.

Road Warriors one was solid, I told my girl it was good but not "as heavy" as the others. Some of the back story was nice, and hearing how Hawk was as as kid makes perfect sense.

But yeah, I can imagine the Owen one is going to be heavy.
As for him being overrated... I think because of how he died, yes thats fair. However, was he one of the best workers at his time? Absolutely. It just sucks he'll probably never (hope I'm wrong) be recognized for it. Not to beat THAT DRUM again.

But I will say; from a personal angle... Owen and HHH were the only 2 wrestlers to ever get me to hate them as a kid (ironically both through angles with HBK, which tell you where i stand - the owen enziguri giving hbk a concussion/hhh hitting hbk with the sledgehammer (tho i genuinely had a disdain for his "reign of terror," esp his handling of booker, rvd, and kane too)). however, in knowing that i always respected him for being able to do that, esp once i got older and heard he was basically everyones buddy who kept it light and humourous backstage; a family man.

The President of DDT and Pro Wrestling NOAH, Sanshiro Takagi, took to social media and tweeted out the announcement that NOAH, DDT, Tokyo Women's, and Gun Pro Wrestling will be merging into a singular brand called "CyberFight".

"The group remains the same! Don't worry!" Takagi writes in the message (as translated by Google). He also made it clear what the new company's intentions are - to overtake New Japan Pro Wrestling in popularity.

"Overtake New Japan Pro Wrestling, the No. 1 in the industry! Details will be released!" Sanshiro finishes. They also gave a glimpse of what the logo for the promotion will look like, as seen in the tweet below.

Pro Wrestling NOAH was founded in 2000 by the former All Japan Pro Wrestling ace Mitsuharu Misawa, who, at the time, contracted 24 of the 26 wrestlers signed to All Japan to form NOAH. IDK if you want to talk about how unreal the wrestling business is you can start with this question: If they have the time to intentionally injure someone for the purpose of preventing them from regaining a position to harm themselves than wouldn't it be easier, more efficient, and crippeling to just jump off the top ropes with their two feet standing as straight up as possible to lanid square on the opponents rib cage? Any humans rib cage would collapse from this simple manuever, and I've performed it from a jump of only a foot, and almost killed my brother. His grunt-like calls for air were frightening, and I was thankful beyond anything a conventional gift could ever be thankful for when he got up on his two feet before i could call for an ambulance.

How is tripple H walking around with a sledge hammer yet unable to hospitolize his opponent with all that muscle? I'm less than half his size and I could kill someone with a regular hammer.
