I truly don't care about backwards compatible.. I never buy a system for that. But it would be a nice feature though, incase the 360 breaks and you still wanna play old games, I usually never do though.

Microsoft believes it can sell 25 million more Xbox 360s despite announcing the console's successor, the Xbox One, earlier this week.

Microsoft will have to ensure a sales average of 1.25 million per quarter for half a decade. How does it plan to do that? Mehdi notes that a large number of those sales will "probably come from replacements," but Microsoft is also planning a "huge announcement" related to the Xbox 360 for E3 to reinvigorate the aging console.

Xbox One will retail for $400, while the PlayStation 4 will debut at $350.

Pachter's pricing estimations are based on bill of materials figures of $275 for the PS4 and $325 for the Xbox One.

Though Pachter believes the Xbox One will be the more expensive console at launch, he also predicts that Microsoft may offer a subsidized model, available at a lower price when consumers agree to a subscription plan.

so if games are 45 gigs does this mean more content and even better game play? In my eyes the next gen console games should be stellar. I'm talking about games like COD being completely open, jumping on any area, hiding in bushes, etc. Just like wrestling games, I think you should be able to fight anywhere you want and do whatever you want. It's hard to explain just exactly what I picture, but 45 gigs is more than enough to do this shit and the technology is definitely there. Why can't we have a gta game where you can go in every house/building. The games are close to being there. Red dead redemption is a good example. Basically real time effects I think you can call it. Like playing call of duty and if you throw a grenade at a wall the wall is destroyed or chunks fly off and stay like that the whole game. But it continues to happen until that wall is destroyed or house or object.

I'm excited, systems have come along way. I'll probably pick a new console up somewhere next year though.
